Senior Manager/Director of Information Technology and Compliance (ITC)

Malvern College Hong Kong opened its doors to pupils in 2018 and has grown to be one of the leading schools in the territory. With strong links to Malvern College, a leading independent school in Worcestershire, England, the School seeks to appoint a professional from August 2023.

The primary purpose of this post is to deliver secure, reliable, and effective ICT systems and services for Malvern College Hong Kong. He/she is responsible for the management of ICT staff, and for developing a strategy that ensures Malvern College Hong Kong is established as a centre of excellence for ICT services. He/she is also responsible for developing and implementing effective data compliance strategies, overseeing data governance, and safeguarding the privacy and security of sensitive information within the school's systems. He/she plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy laws, regulations, and guidelines in an international context. He/she collaborates with various stakeholders and promotes a culture of data privacy and compliance throughout the organisation within the international context. 

The successful candidate must have the strategic vision, appreciation of the Malvern heritage, understanding of the IB PYP, MYP, and DP programmes, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and exceptional professionalism, to lead the continuing development and growth of MCHK as an outstanding British international school committed to capturing the Malvern ethos and vision.

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager of ITC.
