We are looking for a suitably qualified, dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join us in September to make a difference to our students’ lives in an oversubscribed school with a thriving Sixth Form.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is committed to inspiring and motivating students through their innovative and engaging teaching. We would like to appoint a committed and motivated English Teacher to our successful, hardworking and friendly English Department.
This role is suitable for an experienced teacher of English or an ECT.
The Hollyfield School has an extensive CPD programme which offers regular training sessions to enhance teacher’s classroom practice, these are led by all staff from within the school and the wider Multi Academy Trust.

We are part of the Every Child, Every Day Multi Academy Trust and in March 2020 we were judged by Ofsted to be ‘good’ and we are working hard to continue to develop our high standards. The successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria:
● QTS;
● a broad base of subject knowledge;
● experience of teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5;
● a clear vision and ability to plan for a knowledge-rich curriculum across KS5;
● the ability to employ a range of teaching and learning strategies;
● to maintain excellent classroom behaviour;
● effective interpersonal skills and the desire to work
● a constructive management approach to the team that has the students’ at
its core
● ability to monitor and analyse the progress of the students and implement
beneficial intervention to aid their success;
● ability to demonstrate suitability to work with children
and young people.
