Year 7 Teacher – The PRIDE Academy

Salary: Grade MPS £34,514 - £46,001 plus SEN 1 £2,539.00

Location: PRIDE Academy, West Drayton, UB7 8AB

Working Pattern: Full Time, permanent

The PRIDE Academy is a secondary co-educational special school for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, based in Hillingdon. The school aims to provide a therapeutic environment to support young people’s academic journey and psychological wellbeing.

The PRIDE Academy moved into its new purpose-built school in April 2022 and will gradually expand its intake to include a Sixth Form enabling 110 pupils aged 11 to 19 to be educated on site. The new Free School offers extensive facilities including specialist science labs, well-equipped art and design and technology rooms in a bright and spacious building, as well as an indoor sports hall and an outdoor multi use games area.

We want a teacher who has passion, enthusiasm, alongside the skills and desire to develop and nurture our Year 7 students through their transition from primary school to secondary school.
