Location: Grafham Grange School

Working Pattern: 36 hours per week, Term Time only (8.30am – 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am – 4.00pm Friday with 30 minute unpaid break.

Grafham Grange School is a special school for 70 students aged 10 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health as their primary identified need. It is situated in 42 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside in Bramley offering significant opportunities for outdoor learning.

The school offers a curriculum that covers academic and practical subjects allowing all students to find their talents and strengths whilst focusing on the skills they need to build better futures. The bespoke approach to learning means students grow in self-confidence and are prepared to take their next steps in their lives after school.

We are looking to recruit a Technician to provide technical, administrative and safeguarding support to the work of the teachers across the DT, Science, Food Technology and Art Departments.

This role will give you the opportunity to help and support the learning and growth of a group of vulnerable students who need all the help and care they can get in order to have a bright future. If you want to make a real difference to the lives of young people, this job is definitely for you.

A comprehensive induction, and full training, will be provided so we are happy to accept applications from candidates with or without experience of working in a school environment.

The school is extremely well supported in its continual drive for excellence through its Governing Body and OHCAT. The school is committed to CPD across its staff teams.
