The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to be part of our hard working and fast paced Catering Team at Priestmead Primary School. Maintaining in the kitchen cleaning and supporting the day to day running of the kitchen. There may be opportunity for additional overtime hours and the chance to work across the Trust and academies.

To be responsible for the hand and machine wash duties within the kitchen

Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in food hygiene and service

Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school

Undertake other duties as reasonable requested by the CEO, Academy Lead or your line manager.

Our Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share that commitment. Appointment to the post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and background check. References are taken up before interview unless specified differently. In accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education, the Trust will carry out an online search as part of the due diligence on shortlisted candidates. There is a requirement for appointed staff to obtain criminal records checks or a letter from a professional regulating authority from all countries lived or worked abroad in for 3 months or more.
