The Lakes School is seeking to employ a motivated and positive individual to join our team as a Teacher of Maths. This part time post will be to cover maternity leave on a fixed term contract from March 2024 (date TBC) to 4 April 2025.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the ability and age range, including GCSE and A Level Maths, and will join experienced colleagues within the school. The post would be suitable for either an NQT/ECT or more experienced teacher.
We are a high achieving, fully comprehensive school; a dynamic and innovative centre at the heart of the Lake District where all pupils are encouraged to be inspired, feel challenged, become empowered. The Lakes School was graded good in all areas by OFSTED in November 2019.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our young people. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS and health check along with two satisfactory references.
