A rewarding opportunity exists for an (Acting) Religious Education Co-ordinator at St Matthew's Primary, Page. The Religious Education Coordinator, being an essential faith and curriculum leadership position in the School, is an exemplary teacher who provides a role model for staff and students. 

The successful applicant in this position will support the Principal through prayer, word and action to promote the faith formation and Religious Education of the St Matthew's community. The successful applicant for the position will be a practising Catholic. Additionally, the successful applicant will promote the school’s awareness of others and the responsibility to reach out and provide support in meaningful ways.

Please note that this is a full-time, temporary position commencing from Term 2 - Term 4 inclusive. This position is temporary in nature because the substantive occupant (the incumbent) is taking parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CEO policy.

Applicants are required to submit a cover letter as well as statements addressing the Skills, Attributes & Experience in the Position Description to a maximum of 4 pages. Applicants should also include a current resume including 3 professional referees one which should be your Parish Priest.
