A School in East Derby is looking for a teacher who wants to cover a key stage 2 class on a 0.4 basis each week. The school want a teacher who shows a good grasp of behaviour management as this is a year 5 class of mixed ability. The ideal teacher will also be willing to take on a bit of extra responsibility, perhaps covering another class for an afternoon later in the week, obviously you will be paid for this. This role is on a temporary basis so beyond the Christmas holidays the school could change the hours worked each week as well as differing which days it is if the contract is extended.
The school have a strict ethos which they expect both staff and pupils to aspire to while they are in the school, with a particular focus on leading by example and treating others with the respect you expect back off of them. The school are willing to allocate some time and resources to assist the right teacher who takes on this role, the Senior leadership team will be on hand to assist in the handover of the class if needs be.
The school is situated near the Derby ring road so is easily accessible for anyone to the east of Derby as well as the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be willing to take the role in their stride and adapt to the new school environment rather quickly.
