As a major provider of both further and higher education provision in the West Midlands, our aim is simple – to make significant contributions to the local and regional economies and beyond, by providing high quality vocational education and training for individuals, employers and the wider community. As such, our provision is designed to be up to date, flexible, accessible and responsive to all our customers’ needs, serving approximately 7,000 students across two main campuses, several satellite centres and on work based programmes. We have state of the art facilities and an excellent learning/working environment, including a sports complex, aeronautical and aviation centre, arts centre and specialist vocational workshops.
At present we employ 269 salaried teaching and assessing staff. We also employ 256 administrative staff, 38 managers and approximately 200 hourly paid teachers and assessors. We require an Administrator to support our Facilities Department. You will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Facilities Team and providing an effective and efficient administrative service for the Facilities projects. You will provide secretarial support to the Facilities Team including minute meetings, diary management, track project expenditure including planned maintenance work where required. Previous experience of working within a busy office environment and excellent time management skills are essential. An understanding of Facilities and budget monitoring would be advantageous.
