Job overview

Solihull College and University Centre is seeking an experienced GCSE English teacher to deliver the 9-1 AQA syllabus to large groups of adults.

A minimum Level 3 qualification in English and a teaching qualification are both essential in order to deliver programmes in a timely manner to ensure high levels of student satisfaction, attendance, retention and ultimately success.

Delivery may be at a number of sites including community venues, employer’s premises and at the College campuses. 

Your will have excellent communication, IT and number skills, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and have the ability to work both as part of a team and independently. You will be an excellent administrator, well organised and able to meet deadlines.

In the academic year 2017/18 this work will include at least two twilight (4.00 – 6.00pm) and two evening classes (7.00 – 9.00pm) at both Blossomfield and Woodlands Campuses.
