ABC Teachers are working on behalf of a rapidly improving school in Bilston who is seeking to recruit a Year 1 Teacher to start in April 2018. The role in question is a job share 3 days per week where you will be expected to share planning, assessments, reports and parents evening. The school is extremely keen to work with an outstanding practitioner who is willing to commit to the entirety of the role.
The Head Teacher and other leaders have a very good understanding of the school’s strengths and weaknesses and plans for improvement are precise, time-specific and measurable for impact. Pupils respond well to learning in lessons and the good opportunities they have for reflection in assemblies. This makes a significant contribution to their spiritual and moral development. Pupils are keen to answer questions or contribute to discussions.
The ideal candidate will-
· KS1 Specialist
· Be able to provide 2 educational references in the last 2 years
· Have a current DBS on the update service, or be willing to complete a new one
· QTS or a NQT
· Knowledge of the current National curriculum
Located in Bilston, this makes it an easy commute for both drivers and non-drivers with links from the M5 and M6. The local public transport routes are very frequent in and around the area. This would be the ideal position for someone that is situated in Dudley, Wolverhampton and Walsall.
