Job overview

The Personal Learning Coach (PLC) will work with students who are ‘at risk’ of withdrawing from their studies or not achieving their potential, within the College’s various Schools. The majority of students that the PLC works with will be mainstream 16-19 year olds who may be studying at any level and in any curriculum area. The aim of the post is to encourage such students to develop the skills needed to allow them to succeed and progress.


This post holder will support the attendance of students enrolled in Maths and English lessons.


The successful applicant would be required to work 37 hours per week over 38 weeks of the year (Term Time Only).


*Please note that the pro rata'd salary for this post is: Support Grade D01-03; £13,5072.58 - £15,002.34 per annum.
