0.8 BSL/English Interpreter - Fixed March 2017 until August 2018

Term time only (FTE 33 weeks).

28 hours per week. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

FTE £31,750 - £34,369 (RSLI)
FTE £28,600 - £31,750 (TSLI)
FTE £26,479 - £28,600 (supervised trainee)

All salaries are pa inclusive of London Weighting.

Are you either a (NRCPD-regulated) Trainee Interpreter (TSLI) or a (NRCPD regulated) Registered (qualified) Interpreter (RSLI)? Do you have experience of effectively interpreting between British Sign Language (BSL) and/or Sign Supported English (SSE) and English in a variety of settings, including business and educational settings?

The purpose of this role is to provide an interpreting service for deaf staff within City Lit and at external events as required and to undertake interpreting assignments for external deaf students and clients within education and business across London.
