We are now looking to appoint a 0.8 Lecturer to teach A-Level Chemistry and GCSE Chemistry qualifications within our 6th Form school.
Joining our science teaching team which comprises of 6 members of staff, you will prepare students for exams, complete controlled assessments, mark and set regular assessments, monitor students and where appropriate, curriculum development. Contributing to the development of existing and new provision, you will implement flexible and cost effective teaching and learning styles and complete administrative work such as registers, records of work and various forms of student progress sheets.
To be successful in this role, candidates should hold a degree or professional qualification in a relevant subject and have excellent teaching skills, with experience of A-Level Chemistry and GCSE Chemistry. With the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, you will have energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for pastoral work, your subject and education and have the ability to use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
