28 hours per week, this post includes evening and occasional weekend work.

£32,902 - £36,655 per annum pro rata inclusive of London Weighting. Appointments are made at the bottom of the salary scale but relevant past experience is taken into account in the spinal point awarded.

Are you creative, proactive and able to manage a team? Do you have a post-graduate qualification in assessing and supporting specific learning difficulties, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are you able to use these to promote an outstanding adult learner experience? If you have a level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent (e.g. stage 3 teaching qualification or PGCE), plus commitment to complete further CPD or teacher training qualifications if required, this role could be for you.

As a Teacher Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising dyslexia and SPLD (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, ADD / ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome) support within the Access, Inclusion and Study Support Department. Leading the provision of support for people with specific learning difficulties. Recruit, supervise and support part-time tutors and other staff as appropriate. To lead on dyslexia assessment, and to carry out assessments in conjunction with HP assessors. To teach and support students as necessary. To carry out the necessary administrative and quality assurance procedures
