Vision for Education - 1:1 Support Worker (PRU)

We are actively seeking One to One Support Assistants to work with student in the Kirklees area who are temporarily out of mainstream education for a number of reasons. The role will see you supporting students inside and outside of the classroom, in centres / Libraries and sometimes in their home so it is essential that you have your own transport. (There will be other adult supervision E.g. students parent / carer if within Children's home). This would be a great opportunity to experience teaching either with part and full time hours. These students may present challenging behaviour therefore experience working with similar vulnerable young people is essential.

February 2018 start

The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach creatively adapting to the needs of each leaner and must have good core subject knowledge. You must be open minded / non-judgemental and have the ability to build a rapport quickly in order to achieve the best results. Pay is dependant on candidate experience and needs of student
