1-1 Teaching Assistant/ Individual Needs Assistant

W are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and caring individual to support a child in KS1 with an EHCP.

The successful applicant should ideally have:

* experience of working with Key stage 1 children,

* experience of working with children with emotional needs.

The successful applicant must have:

* experience of working with children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

You should be able to work well in a team, be able to liaise with parents and other external professionals and to recognise and implement key approaches to learning to support the child in line with the EHCP.

 The position is attached to a specific child and will therefore be for the duration of the child's time at Sir Henry Fermor, however further opportunities may be available in the future.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8:30 to 15:30 (32.5 hours). Term time only.
