Ibstock Place School is seeking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in the Senior School to work under the instruction/guidance of the Lead Professional and other teaching/specialist staff, to provide support in addressing the additional needs of a pupil who requires particular help to overcome barriers to learning. This will involve supporting the pupil within lessons, movement around School, preparing resources, support with daily living tasks including at meal times and monitoring and recording progress against agreed outcomes.
The role is term time only, for one year in the first instance. Salary is according to qualifications and relevant experience. Breakfast and lunch are provided by the School during term time.
