Job overview
We are looking for a talented 1:2:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at David Livingstone Academy. It is essential that the successful candidate has had experience of working within a school setting and be highly proactive and committed to going that extra mile to ensure pupils achieve the best they possibly can. Very good literacy/ numeracy skills are essential, so too is the ability to relate well to children and adults.
This Level 2 post is to support a child on a 1:2:1 basis, with an Educational Health Care Plan. Experience of supporting children with Autism/communication delay is therefore preferable. This is a fixed term contract dependent upon the child remaining at David Livingstone. The post is for 32.5 hours per week, term time (with insets) only.
