Job overview
We seek to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant (term-time only) to support a high functioning Year 7 child with ASD, OCD and Tourettes. The person appointed will provide support for learning throughout the day. Experience of working in KS3 with children who have additional needs is advantageous but not essential.
This position is dependent on EHCP funding. The funding which is guaranteed for one year will be reviewed as the child enters Year 8.
Standard working hours are 8am to 4pm daily (37.5 hours per week) however there may be some flexibility surrounding finishing times on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for the right candidate.
