Hope Wood Academy is an all age special academy in Easington, Co Durham. It is part of the Ascent Academies Trust, which comprises five special academies in the North East. As part of the staff team you will play a key role in the achievement and development of students.

The principal responsibilities of this post are for the implementation and delivery of study programmes for students aged 16-19 and facilitation a learning experience which prepares students for adulthood. Candidates should be well organised and be able to work as part of a team, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be flexible. Candidates will possess 5 x GCSE A*-C or equivalent including Maths and English, a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and have experience of working with young people aged 16+ with SEN.
