We are currently seeking an experienced ICT Teacher to join our school teaching at the Middle Senior School level.

I. JOB PURPOSE

The ICT Teacher will teach subjects such as, but not limited to, Technology, Software

Engineering, and Computing Technology, delivering high-quality, ICT-rich learning

experiences. The teacher will be responsible for engaging students in practical and

theoretical ICT knowledge while contributing to the development of the school’s curriculum.

II. KEY RESULT AREAS/ RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide exemplary teaching in Technology, Software Engineering, and Computing Technology.

2. Develop and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.

3. Collaborate with department heads to enhance the ICT curriculum.

4. Engage in co-curricular activities related to ICT.

5. Plan, program and deliver high-quality teaching and learning activities that are designed to meet the diverse needs within any class.

6. Contribute to the provision of a rich and diverse Co-curricular experience for students in the School.

7. Develop productive and respectful relationships with parents and colleagues to ensure effective learning for students at the School.

8. Maintain a safe and secure educational environment by ensuring appropriate standards of behaviour.

9. Assess and report in line with the School's expectations.

10. Undertake tasks associated with the ongoing development of the School’s curriculum.

11. Participate in professional growth.

12. Ability to inspire students and colleagues and build strong relationships across departments

13. Other duties as directed by the Principal or Head of School.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

A. BEHAVIOUR EXPECTATIONS

1. Able to contribute positively to the School’s goals that are aligned with the

organisation’s guiding statements.

2. Able to plan, prioritise and organise work and resources effectively to meet

departmental and organisational objectives.

3. Able to develop and maintain effective relationships with all key stakeholders to meet

mutual goals and objectives.

4. Proven skills in designing, implementing and evaluating differentiated and

inspirational learning experiences for students.

5. Proven skills in using ICT to improve student engagement and learning.

6. Knowledge and experience applying the principles of Visible Learning would be

highly regarded.

7. Expertise and experience leading/coaching sports or co-curricular activities.

B. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

1. Strong proficiency in Python programming, mechatronics project development, and user interface (UI) design.

2. Experience in delivering coding-based lessons and practical programming projects.

3. Knowledge and experience applying the principles of Visible Learning would be highly regarded.

4. Proven skills in using ICT to improve student engagement and learning.

5. Expertise and experience leading co-curricular activities.

6. Spoken and written English is used for all school communications and as such, a high standard of English communication skills in reading, writing, speaking and

listening is required to be successful in this position.

C. QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or Degree in Speciality plus Diploma of Education.

2. Current Teacher Registration in home country, including relevant Police Checks.

D. EXPERIENCE

1. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.

IV. OTHER DUTIES
