Reporting to:  Principal
Purpose of role: Managing Front of the Office
This job description is not a comprehensive definition of the post, duties may vary within this framework in line with the level of responsibility and the duties senior management may reasonably ask the post holder to perform.
 Professional Duties

• Greet new parents
• Ask them to complete a "parent enquiry form"
• School tour (when able)
• Receive new enrolment from parents, input them in the admissions system to the correct steps, and create files for them
• Organize assessments- with teachers, or using the CAT4 website where applicable (different classes have different assessments)- ensure that relevant teachers know about assessments
• Liaise with Heads of School regarding the acceptance of students
• Once accepted, follow the discussion with an email. Heads of School to reply, then print and put in student's files
• Compose acceptance letters, get them signed, stamped, then scan and send to parents
• Input new students on the family contact sheet and the staffroom system - including scanning of documents to put on staffroom
• Compose leaving certificates and no objection letters for all leaving students. Copying each and ensuring the copy is filed in the admissions office
• Check with accounts that leaving students accounts are up to date, get the departure checklist signed by them
• Let parents know that the leaving paperwork is ready for collection. When they collect, get them to sign, and file away the departure checklist
• Organise trials for students with low CAT results, or for those for whom we've been informed may require additional support- liaise with Head of Learning Enrichment Department, teachers and parents, to organise a time that suits all parties. Once the trial is complete, follow up with everyone regarding the trial, meet with Principal to see the outcome of the trial. Organise follow up meetings with parents.
Miscellaneous
• Send out duty reminders
• Once all registers are complete on school system, print the absent list for the fire folder
• Ensure the file folder is up to date - correct the staff the student registers
• Print the list of students catching the bus daily, marking off who is absent, to give the teachers on bus duty at the end of the school day
• Assist Principal with day-to-day admin requirements
• Make appointments for SLT members when required

Introduction

Multinational School Bahrain is an inclusive BSO (British Schools Overseas) accredited private school situated in the suburb of Adliya in Manama, Bahrain. The school caters for students from Nursery to Year 13 and boasts a dedicated Learning Enrichment Department offering support to students with varying educational requirements.

History

The school’s campus has a long and colourful history having previously housed the U.S. Embassy and the New York Institute of Technology prior to becoming a school in 2013.

The school initially followed the Australian curriculum before switching to the British curriculum under its new ownership in 2017 and is now a fully accredited British School Overseas. The vibrant and welcoming school community now comprises of over 50 different nationalities and continues to go from strength to strength.
