Physics is a successful subject at A Level, and we are seeking someone with a proven track record of excellent teaching and student outcomes. You will be expected to bring fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and a commitment to high standards. The role involves curriculum planning, assessment oversight, and promoting interest in Physics among KS4 students to encourage uptake at KS5.

We pride ourselves on our strong community ethos and supportive working environment. Staff are trusted to work flexibly, and we offer excellent retention rates, a bonus scheme for long service, and perks such as free staffroom drinks and weekly breakfast. Our behaviour systems and staffing levels allow teachers to focus on teaching, with low pupil-teacher ratios comparable to independent schools.

Key responsibilities:

• Development of engaging and challenging schemes of work

• Promotion of Physics to KS4 students

2. Curriculum and Assessment

• Keeping KS5 Physics provision aligned with national developments
