About Phorms School Frankfurt
Located in Germany, Frankfurt City, Steinbach (Taunus) near Frankfurt and Strothoff International School in Dreieich near Frankfurt are co-educational bilingual independent schools. The schools offer provision for students starting in nursery or reception, going up to age 18 and the end of secondary school. The reception, primary and secondary departments are all located on the Campus Frankfurt City. The nursery and another primary and secondary school are located on the Campus Frankfurt Taunus in Steinbach (Taunus) near Frankfurt. The curriculum in Frankfurt and Steinbach (Taunus) is primarily based around the German education system, with students working towards the German Abitur, a university-preparatory qualification, as well as optional North American-style Advanced Placement Programmes. The curriculum at the school also has strong English/German bilingual elements, with students being exposed to and taught in both languages at a young age. Our Strothoff International School in Dreieich offers education from kindergarten to Secondary School with the IB Curriculum.
The campuses have seen significant development and modernisation over the years, and as a result are able to boast of a wide range of teaching and recreational facilities. These include a range of new facilities added by the opening of a brand new purpose-built school building in 2011, housing a swimming pool, numerous modern classrooms, a basketball court, playgrounds and recreational areas for students at every level of the school.
Teaching Information
Teachers and Educators at Frankfurt work in a more flexible environment, with less conventional homework being set and smaller class sizes than other schools.
