About Capital School Bahrain

Welcome to our vibrant and growing school, located in the heart of Bahrain! Easily accessible from all corners of the island, our school is quickly gaining recognition and becoming a strong competitor to other local English curriculum schools. Now in our 10th year, we've evolved from a small primary school into a thriving, dynamic campus that serves over 1200 students from Nursery to Year 11, with a dedicated team of 200 staff members.

Our purpose-built school has everything you would expect a modern school to have creating an ideal learning environment for our students. We follow the English National Curriculum, and most of our talented teachers are UK-trained, bringing their expertise and passion to the classroom. Whether you're a newly qualified teacher or have over 20 years of experience, we offer a supportive and nurturing environment for staff to grow and thrive.

Our school boasts a small swimming pool for our Key Stage1 learners, and we have recently renovated our multi-purpose hall to accommodate sports such as netball, volleyball, 5-a-side football, basketball and table tennis.

We will be opening or new STEAM Centre which will be ready for September 2025.  This will provide our learners with state-of-the-art science labs along with technology rooms for pupils to learn in.

In September 2025 we are starting our Key Stage 5 provision, where pupils will study a range of BTECs from Applied Science to Travel and Tourism.  In the following years, we will be introducing A-Levels alongside these qualifications to ensure our learners gain the best possible outcomes from our school.

We see the use of Technology and AI featuring heavily in our curriculum and we will be starting on our journey of becoming a Microsoft Incubator School.  This journey will involve introducing a one: one device for our pupils which can be used as an integral part of their learning across the campus.  We are in the process of becoming the first ICDL delivery centre in the Kingdom which will allow all pupils when they reach a certain point in their learning (and parents too!), to gain this qualification.

We offer a dedicated staff CPD session that occurs once a week for two hours where we look at developing our teaching practice.  We work in learning communities where self-reflection is promoted and development without the worry of failure is encouraged.

I am proud to lead a passionate leadership team who care deeply about each one of our pupils and who want them to become the best versions of themselves. We would love to hear from you if these values align with yours, so you too can join us on our exciting journey!
