English Teacher (IBDP/Cambridge/MYP)

Erudito Licėjus is an international school in Lithuania offering the IB PYP, IB DP, and Cambridge International Education, and is currently seeking authorisation for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) as part of its development towards a full IB continuum.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join our secondary school team. The successful candidate will play a key role in teaching English Language and Literature within the IB MYP, Cambridge and/or IBDP framework and supporting the school’s MYP development and implementation.

Position details:

• Role: English Teacher

• Department: English and Literature

• Education stage: Middle School and/or IBDP

• Curriculum focus: Cambridge, implementing IB MYP framework increasingly. Potentially, also IBDP.

• Contract type: Full-time

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver inquiry-based English lessons aligned with IB MYP principles

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the MYP

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Collaborate on interdisciplinary learning and curriculum planning

• Support students’ academic and social-emotional growth

Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Literature, or related field

• Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience, preferably in an international setting

• Familiarity with the IB MYP/DP frameworks strongly preferred

• Excellent command of English and effective classroom management
