The Koc School is a co-educational Turkish day and boarding school with a global perspective. Founded in 1988 by the Vehbi Koç Foundation, it is one of Turkey’s leading private schools.
Over the years, Koç School has consciously and intentionally become a multicultural academic community. Our Turkish and foreign faculty members are a highly competent and wonderfully diverse group of educators, many of whom have forged bonds with each other to develop a strong esprit de corps.
In 1994, Koç School introduced the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and along with a bilingual curriculum we provide our 2000 Turkish students with the foundation for a lifelong journey of learning, opening doors to the finest colleges and universities in Turkey and throughout the world.
The elementary and high schools, under the supervision of the General Director, are housed in modern and well-resourced facilities on a 200 acre campus near Sabiha Gökçen international airport.
Today The Koç School continues its leadership role in education in Turkey. This is truly an exciting time for all of us at The Koç School.
Turkey and our community
There are few nations in the world that can boast of such splendid variety - whether in climate, terrain, or previous cultures - or which has such a colorful past coupled with a dynamic present. Turkey boasts one of the developing world's fastest growing economies and is a country where opportunity abounds.
The nation has resolutely set its face to the West. As one of the country’s leading schools, Koç believes that one of its major goals is to train the next generation of leaders in Turkey and to enable them to be completely at home in a highly competitive international setting while maintaining their own heritage and cultural continuity.
