The Metropolitan International School seeks an experienced and dedicated professional to join our Secondary team, starting March 2025.

The role will be teaching combined Science and with a focus on Chemistry across secondary years, including Cambridge IGCSE, and IB Diploma Programmes

We follow the Hessen curriculum, augmented with the Cambridge IGCSE Programme. Located in the heart of the Rhein-Neckar metropolitan region, MIS enjoys direct transport links to major cities like Heidelberg, Frankfurt and Mannheim.

The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable teacher to be a part of our Humanities department. The successful candidate will be dynamic, with a strong commitment to developing engaging curriculum and instructional methods suited to the needs of international students.

Candidates should have significant experience teaching Business Management in English, and have International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme experience.

The role may also involve being a homeroom teacher for one secondary class. This is a pastoral role that includes one stay away trip annually.

The role is 50% Business management teaching in Grades 11 and 12

For teachers looking to have a role greater than 50% Further hours are available in IGCSE and lower secondary classes teaching History and/or Geography.
