About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and qualified English Teacher to join our school. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching within an English curriculum framework and a demonstrated ability to inspire students in literature, language, and critical thinking.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum (e.g., IGCSE, A-Level, or other recognized international programs).

  • Teach English language, literature, and writing across middle and/or high school grade levels as assigned.

  • Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills through a variety of instructional strategies.

  • Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to the school’s pastoral system, which may include serving as a homeroom teacher or academic advisor.

  • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.

  • Collaborate with the English department and cross-disciplinary teams on curriculum development, resource sharing, and school-wide initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, English Education, Literature, or a related field.

  • Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, state license, or international equivalent).

  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an international or bilingual school setting.

  • Familiarity with international English curricula such as IGCSE, A-Level English.

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, motivating learning environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and student-centered teaching.
