Amity International School, Abu Dhabi is seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Teacher of PE to join our thriving sports department. PE staff are expected to have a higher co-curricular sport commitment for which there is timetable compensation. The ability to coach or lead netball would be advantageous but not essential. The ability to teach academic PE up to and including GCSE and A Level would also be advantageous. There may be leadership opportunities available for the right candidate.

Key Requirements

  • Be able to teach academic PE (GCSE, A Level or BTEC Sport)

  • Experience in developing inclusive sports provision

  • Knowledge of contemporary PE teaching methods and assessment frameworks

  • Understanding of differentiated teaching strategies for physical education

  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with coaches, parents, and students

  • Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds

  • Ability to support the school's Elite Player Pathway (EPP) programme
