About the School
The High School Attached to Northeast Normal University is located on a leafy campus on the outskirts of Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, and was founded in 1950. The school serves approximately 8,650 students aged 13–19 and is known for its strong academic culture and research-led approach.
Our International Centre, established in 2011, offers IB and A Level programmes and prepares students for universities across North America, the UK, and Australasia. Facilities are modern and well resourced, and most staff live nearby in a friendly, well-connected local community.
The Opportunity
Dipont Education invites applications for a Teacher of English at our Changchun school. This role is suited to a passionate, student-focused educator who understands the importance of language, literature, and academic writing within a high-performing international school environment.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging English lessons across secondary year groups, supporting students’ development in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking, while preparing them for external assessments and future academic study.
This position offers the chance to:
Teach motivated students in a well-resourced international school setting
Develop students’ academic English, literary analysis, and communication skills
Prepare learners for success in IB and A Level English programmes
Work collaboratively with international colleagues in a professional, supportive environment
About You
We are looking for a teacher who is:
Qualified in English, English Literature, or a related field, with a recognized teaching credential
Experienced teaching English at the secondary school level
Confident delivering a broad English curriculum, including language, literature, and academic writing
Able to engage and challenge high-performing students while supporting a range of abilities
Professional, reliable, and committed to student progress, with at least two years of full-time teaching experience
