For the 2026/2027 academic year, the school is seeking a dedicated, creative, and adaptable Primary EAL Teacher. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, demonstrate strong collaboration skills, and show a clear commitment to supporting students with English as an Additional Language.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting EAL learners across the Primary phase through targeted intervention and in-class support.
• Working closely with class teachers to plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the language needs of EAL students.
• Assessing students’ English language proficiency and monitoring progress using appropriate assessment tools.
• Developing and implementing effective strategies to support language acquisition across the curriculum.
• Providing guidance and training to staff on EAL best practices and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Liaising with parents to support students’ language development and integration into school life.
Requirements:
• A relevant degree in Education, with additional qualifications or certification in EAL/TESOL (preferred).
• Proven experience as an EAL Teacher, ideally within an international or multicultural school setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
• A sound understanding of the English National Curriculum and strategies to support language development.
