The Ideal Candidate

British School of Vila-real provides an excellent British education from two to eighteen years old. The school offers an integral education which stimulates, motivates and challenges. An education in which each pupil is unique and in which he or she will find all the help and opportunities necessary for intellectual growth and their personal development.

English is the official language of the School and it follows the British curriculum. These studies are complemented with those of Spanish language, History, Geography and Culture, as well as Valencian, the official language of the region which the school belongs to.

German, French and Mandarin are also offered as second and third foreign languages. Both the curriculum and the centre are officially recognised and authorised, by the British as well as the Spanish educational authorities, to follow the British educational system in Spain, which guarantees the standardisation of the studies and facilitates our students´ access to the best universities in the world.

The school is a member of NABSS (the National Association of British Schools in Spain).

British School of Vila-real is a private co-educational day school. Pupils are prepared for IGCSE and A-Levels with a wide range of subjects offered.

The school is divided into the following departments:

Early Years and Key Stage 1: Nursery 2 – Year 2 – Infant School
Key Stage 2: Years 3–6 – Primary School
The Secondary School – key Stage 3-4: Years 7-13 – Senior School
The Sixth Form, Key Stage 5: Year 12 and Y13
Amongst the excellent academic facilities offered there are 3 science laboratories, 3 computer suites, a large library, purpose built sports hall and theatre, 2 swimming pools and extensive sports facilities. The school has its own dining room and catering service along with an optional bus service covering Vila-real, Castellón and surrounding areas.
