Life in Baghdad
Many people arrive in Baghdad with pre formed ideas. Almost everyone leaves with a different perspective.
Baghdad today is vibrant, welcoming, and deeply human. It is a city rich in culture, history, and hospitality, where cafés stay open late, families gather in parks, and community life is woven into daily routines. The lifestyle is comfortable and affordable, with high quality dining, cultural spaces, and social experiences that often exceed expectations.
For educators, this means the ability to live well while focusing on what matters. Many international teachers find that life in Baghdad offers something increasingly rare: the chance to feel genuinely connected to a place, not just passing through it.
