We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate FS2 Class Teacher and Year Group Leader to join our FS2 team from August 2026. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead teaching and learning across FS2 while delivering high-quality lessons to your own class. As part of our growing leadership structure, the successful candidate will play a vital role in raising standards and supporting team collaboration across the year group.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver consistently high-quality teaching aligned with the National Curriculum for England

* Lead the FS2 team in planning, assessment, moderation, and curriculum delivery

* Use data and assessment tools effectively to drive progress and improve outcomes

* Support and mentor teachers within the year group, fostering a collaborative and reflective team culture

* Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all pupils

* Communicate effectively with parents and carers, building strong partnerships

* Contribute to whole-school initiatives and support the senior leadership team

* Ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and learning across the year group

* Support behaviour for learning and wellbeing strategies aligned with school policy

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or PGCE with QTS

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching in a primary setting (UK curriculum preferred)

* Previous experience in a middle leadership role or readiness to step into leadership

* In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and sound pedagogical practice

* Proven impact on pupil progress and achievement

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

* ADEK approval or eligibility is an advantage
