Outstanding Inclusion Teacher 

Due to continued growth, Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba is seeking to appoint an outstanding, passionate and highly skilled Inclusion Teacher to join our established Inclusion Team for the 2026–2027 academic year. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated practitioner who is committed to inclusive education and supporting students with a range of additional learning needs to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, support staff and families to ensure that all pupils are able to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life. 

As an Inclusion Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils through targeted intervention, collaborative teaching approaches and individualised learning strategies. You will work with pupils across the primary phase, supporting those with additional learning needs, language development needs, and other barriers to learning, ensuring that they are able to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. 

You will be joining a dynamic and supportive Inclusion Department, working alongside a multidisciplinary team which includes the Head of Inclusion, specialist teachers, learning support assistants, and external professionals where required. Together, the team works collaboratively to provide high-quality provision for pupils and to promote inclusive practice across the school.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will: 

  • Provide high-quality targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs through individual and small-group interventions 

  • Support pupils to access the curriculum, adapting learning where necessary to ensure meaningful participation and progress 

  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff to develop inclusive classroom strategies and effective differentiation 

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual learning plans and targeted interventions 

  • Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, using assessment data to inform teaching and support strategies 

  • Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development, helping them to develop confidence and independence 

  • Work collaboratively with the Inclusion Team to ensure effective provision across the school 

  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues and external professionals regarding pupil progress and support strategies 

  • Contribute to the continued development of inclusive practices and provision within the school 

  • Support the wider school community and participate actively in school events and initiatives 

Requirements and Experience 
The successful candidate will demonstrate: 

  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification 

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role within a Primary or Secondary setting 

  • Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs 

  • A strong commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with students, parents and colleagues 

  • A thorough knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures 

  • A commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students 

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team 

  • An innovative, creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning 

  • A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community 


Desirable 

  • Experience working within the UAE or an international school setting 

  • Additional qualifications such as CCET, AAC or SEND-related certifications 

  • Experience supporting pupils with speech and language needs, autism, dyslexia or other learning differences
