Kensington Learning Space (KLS) is inviting enthusiastic and creative teachers to join our Summer Camp Team 2026.
Our summer camps offer children a joyful week of hands-on learning, creativity, movement, and discovery in a warm and supportive environment. We are looking for educators who enjoy working with children and can bring energy, kindness, and creativity to the classroom.
Camp Schedule:
Week 1 — July 6–10
Week 2 — July 13–17
Week 3 — July 20–24
Week 4 — July 27–31
Week 5 — August 3–7
Week 6 — August 10–14
Teachers may apply for one or multiple weeks.
Preference will be given to candidates who can support multiple weeks to provide consistency for children.
Age Groups:
Classes will run for the following groups:
• 4–5 years
• 6–7 years
• 8–11 years
Please indicate your preferred age group when applying.
Camp Details:
• Minimum commitment: 1 week
• Salary: tax free
• Working hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Camp hours: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Lunch provided on site
Each class includes:
• Maximum 15 students
• At least one teaching assistant
• Pre-prepared lesson plans and activities
• Specialist sessions during the week led by guest instructors
Teachers are welcome to adapt activities and contribute ideas to make the camp engaging and memorable for students.
Preparation:
Before camp begins, teachers will be invited to visit KLS to:
• Review their classroom environment
• Explore available resources
• Meet the team
• Ensure they feel confident and prepared

We are particularly interested in local hires who are:
• Passionate about working with children
• Energetic, creative, and organised
• Confident leading activities with groups
• Comfortable communicating in English
• Experienced in education, camps, childcare, or related fields
