Job Overview

This role combines inquiry-based learning in Global Perspectives with EITHER IGCSE Business Studies or Key Stage 3 English, encouraging students to develop research, analysis, and real-world problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Global Perspectives (KS3) and Business Studies (IGCSE) or Key Stage 3 English

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that promote critical thinking and global awareness 

• Prepare students for IGCSE assessments, including coursework and examinations 

• Monitor student progress and provide targeted feedback and support 

• Contribute to curriculum development and cross-curricular initiatives 

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues 

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Education or a relevant bachelor’s degree

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant role at an international school

• Recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent licence

• Understanding of the Cambridge International Curriculum

• Native English speaker or excellent English proficiency both spoken and written

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Commitment to Values-based Education and Enquiry Learning

• Experience teaching IGCSE Business
