Job Overview

In this role you will teach a broad curriculum across Lower Secondary, building strong foundations in numeracy, scientific thinking, and digital literacy  The role requires a student-centred approach, creativity in lesson delivery, and a commitment to developing independent learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Mathematics, and Computing within the Cambridge Lower Secondary framework 

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs 

  • Develop students’ problem-solving, inquiry, and digital skills 

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress 

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and interdisciplinary learning 

  • Support student wellbeing and pastoral development 

  • Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents 

  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development 

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Education or a relevant bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant role at an international school

  • Recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent licence

  • Understanding of the Cambridge International Curriculum

  • Native English speaker or excellent English proficiency both spoken and written

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Commitment to Values-based Education and Enquiry Learning

  • Ability to teach across multiple subjects: Mathematics and Computing
