Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing our Art and Design curriculum, including strengthening our IGCSE Art provision and supporting the growth of A-Level pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Art and Design across KS3–KS5, including A-Level Digital Media and Design

  • Plan and implement a structured IGCSE Art and Design curriculum

  • Support students in developing creativity, technical skills, and independent portfolios

  • Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level assessments

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities in Visual Arts

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment aligned with school values

Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Education or a relevant bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant role at an international school

  • Recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent licence

  • Understanding of the Cambridge International Curriculum

  • Native English speaker or excellent English proficiency both spoken and written

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Commitment to Values-based Education and Enquiry Learning

  • Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Art and Design

  • Strong understanding of Digital Media tools and creative software
