Job Summary

 Anglo Singapore International School is seeking an experienced and inspiring Kindergarten & Primary School Principal to lead our Early Years and Primary School at Campus 31, Bangkok.

This is a key leadership role for a principal who believes in high academic standards, delivered within a holistic and dignified learning environment that nurtures character and independence. The successful candidate will provide strong academic and pastoral leadership, strengthen teaching quality, and build a positive, reflective professional culture.

The Principal will lead the implementation of a curriculum aligned with the Cambridge framework, enriched by the clarity and high expectations associated with Singapore educational practice. Experience with the Singapore curriculum is an advantage, and candidates with a strong Cambridge background who are open to learning and integrating Singaporean best practices are encouraged to apply.

Job Overview

 The Kindergarten & Primary School Principal is responsible for the academic, pastoral, and operational leadership of the Early Years and Primary divisions.

The role reports to the Head of Schools, who will provide strategic guidance, professional mentoring, and ongoing support to ensure alignment across campuses and with the school’s academic direction and long-term development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading high-quality teaching and learning, curriculum implementation, and assessment practices.

• Mentoring, developing, and supporting teachers through coaching and professional development.

• Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

• Building strong, trust-based relationships with parents and leading effective parent communication and engagement.

• Working in close partnership with the Admissions team to support sustainable school growth through strong academic positioning, confident engagement with prospective families, and a positive school reputation.

• Providing leadership oversight for accreditation processes, including WASC, in collaboration with senior leadership and relevant committees.

• Working closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with the school’s vision, values, and long-term direction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Education or a related field (essential).

• Recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience as a Principal, Deputy Principal, or in a comparable senior leadership role, preferably within an international school setting.

• Strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum and assessment frameworks.

• Experience with, or exposure to, Singapore-based curriculum approaches is an advantage.

• NPQH or equivalent leadership qualification is desirable.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

• A strong commitment to high academic standards delivered within a holistic, child-centred learning environment.

Remuneration: A competitive salary package will be offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience, including a housing allowance and return air ticket upon completion of contract.
