Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging music lessons aligned with the UK curriculum for primary students
- Develop students’ musical skills, knowledge, and appreciation through practical activities and performances
- Plan and prepare lesson materials that cater to diverse learning needs
- Organize school concerts, assemblies, and other musical events
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to enrich the overall educational experience
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music or related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in an elementary/primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the UK music curriculum standards
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments is preferred
- Excellent classroom management skills with ability to engage young learners effectively
- Good communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and staff
