Who We Are

ABIS is an English-language international school serving students from early childhood through secondary years, with fully authorized programs in the IB Primary Years Programme, IB Middle Years Programme, and IB Diploma Programme. As a continuum school, ABIS is the only school in Upper Austria (and second in Austria, outside of Vienna).

Our community includes students from 55+ countries speaking 40+ languages, creating a richly diverse environment where international mindedness is lived daily, not just taught. We believe education should nurture empathy, tolerance, resilience, and curiosity- qualities that prepare students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. ABIS is a vibrant and growing community, consisting of around 360 students and 60 staff.
