Tes is supporting the appointment of a 2ic Computer Science at a secondary school in Brent.
The school are looking for a Second in Charge of Computer Science to add leadership capacity to this important department in their Academy and help them lead the next exciting leap forward as they challenge educational disadvantage by defining an ambitious, replicable, and sustainable school model that supports children from communities like theirs to thrive at top third universities and highly competitive apprenticeships.
You will take on core responsibilities in developing their Computer Science curriculum and enrichment offer to inspire the pupils to study Business at KS4 and beyond. You will support the Head of Department in ensuring that teaching across the department establishes high expectations in every classroom through strong routines, great relationships and the impactful delivery of the curriculum.
The school has been on a transformational journey and you will help lead the next exciting leap forward as t hey challenge educational disadvantage by defining an ambitious, replicable and sustainable school model that supports children from communities like theirs to top third universities and highly competitive apprenticeships.
You will make significant contribution to the quality of learning and teaching across the academy and have the opportunity to support the school improvement.
