It is an exciting time at Becket Keys Church of England School (Outstanding, 2014). We are working hard to build upon the GCSE successes of our three founding cohorts to ensure our next cohort get their best possible results in 2020, whilst also establishing our new Sixth Form into its third year.
As part of our growth plan, we are now seeking an additional leader to join our successful and hard-working Mathematics team. If you can deliver rigorous Mathematics teaching to our GCSE students, and are ready to teach A-Level, we want to hear from you. You will also enjoy the challenge of teaching Mathematics to our eager and capable KS3 students. As the second in charge, you will take responsibility for a Key Stage and assist our Head of Mathematics in managing the department.
The successful candidate will have a proven successful track record, will be highly skilled in the classroom and regularly model exemplary practice. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and learning; you will need to be inspiring, enthusing both students and colleagues. A TLR 2 allowance is available for this post.
You will have the opportunity to work with Russell Education Trust which extends to five highly successful schools and means that you will work alongside their advisory team in developing best practice.
The appointee will be committed to our high expectations and core values – we welcome applications from teachers irrespective of their faith or lack of it. However, we ask for applicants to appreciate and respect the beliefs of others and have strong moral principles.
Staff will be provided with a comprehensive induction programme and laptop.
