Eastbury is a successful, well ordered and inclusive school serving an ethnically diverse community. Our brand new purpose built primary accommodation opened in September 2016 and our new secondary buildings opened in January 2017. The school is located within easy walking distance of Barking tube and mainline station and is part of the 6th Form Southern Consortium.  

We are seeking a 6th form Academic Mentor to work alongside teachers and senior leaders to provide support and promote inclusion for Sixth Form students.  The post is aimed at raising student achievement and aspirations and would involve a combination of in class support, withdrawal work and 1-2-1 support and guidance to help pupils in danger of underachieving academically.   The post is ideally suited to a candidate looking to embark upon a career in teaching.
