Canons High School is a vibrant and dynamic multicultural school community in Edgware, NW London. Our school is renowned for being one in which people matter. Relationships are strong, opportunities for progression are many and the personal and professional development of adults and children is at the heart of what we do.

We wish to appoint an energetic, resourceful and flexible individual to work with our 6th form students. To develop and offer mentoring support on a one-to-one or small group basis in order to achieve their full potential. To help students identify why they are underperforming and identify strategies to improve their performance.

Our academic mentors work flexibly and sensitively with staff, families and students to support student attendance and student attainment.

There is a strong ethos of teamwork and support throughout the school and a commitment to continuing professional development. As part of our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children you will be required to undertake a criminal record check via the Criminal Records Bureau and enhanced disclosures.
