A Level Personal Tutor

We are welcoming applications for an A Level Personal Tutor on a Full time, Permanent basis. Joining us as an A Level Personal Tutor, you will be initially supporting over 150 students in year one of their A Level study programme, working alongside a team of 35 A Level specialist Lecturers. This is a busy and vibrant department.

The A Level Personal Tutor will be:

• Delivering excellent and inclusive tutorial sessions ensuring that learners are inspired to succeed
• Working with learners on a 1:1 basis to support academic progress and personal development
• Monitoring attendance, punctuality, progress data and involved in setting robust personal targets

As a Personal Tutor you will support A Level learners to progress to positive destinations. This will include overseeing the UCAS process starting in Year 12.

Qualification and Experience

• Must hold a full teaching qualification
• A Level 6 (degree) qualification or equivalent is essential.
• Experience of working in a pastoral role with young people.
• Experience of writing detailed and accurate references and reports.
• Experience of delivering academic support, within an A Level setting.
