We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, imaginative and innovative teacher to join our committed, dynamic and very successful Physics department who are welcoming, supportive and highly professional. As the A Level Physics Teacher, you will teach small groups of high achieving pupils, playing a key role in developing their potential. Physics is well resourced being based within a specialised teaching block with interactive whiteboards in each laboratory. Physics is popular at Post 16 and is taught as a discrete subject within KS4. The teaching team is ably supported by some highly qualified technicians. We offer an excellent induction and support programme for new and well established teachers. The school prides itself on a comprehensive staff development programme, focusing on excellent teaching and learning.
Prospect is a successful 11-18 school with a strong focus on learning in all aspects of its work. There are 1,350 students on roll, including 170 students in the Sixth Form. Prospect School is located near to the motorway network and has excellent public transport options, providing frequent and reliable access to the school, but is a pleasant, green and open site.
